Nicole (lost and unsure): "Where am I, I've never found anywhere in town like this place."
Ashyre *hidden from sight*: "I can tell you don't belong to this world."
Nicole (turning back unsure of who had just spoken): "I am certain I don't know who you are. And if I don't belong here then where am I?"
Ashyre: "You are in the world known as the Void, and I am uncertain as to why you're here, this is not the realm where human souls should be able to roam after death. And I am known as Ashyre."
Nicole (uncertain of her current situation): "If you're saying this, then is that to imply that I am dead?"
Ashyre (pondering for a moment but still looking like he hasn't thought of the answer he'd been trying to think of): "Not necessarily, only that it's possible."
Nicole (confused): "I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to say."
Ashyre: "You wouldn't be able to return to the world you came from even if you weren't already dead, nor would you be able to go to the realm where the soul of a being who has died should be sent. That is unless you were to find the exact location you were at when you first entered the Void."
Nicole (with a note of seriousness to her voice): "Well then I'm going to find it, I will get back."
Ashyre (somewhat perplexed): "Have you seriously not noticed yet that you can't see anything clearly, regardless how visible it should be?"
Nicole: "I don't care that nobody from my home saw me as anything other than unwanted and a nuisance or a scapegoat at their disposal. I don't care that I was overly familiar with the office, detention, and the trouble from everything and everyone. I will get back to the world I do belong to."
Ashyre (curious): "Why return to a life like that, what worth would there be in doing such, If you have nothing worth returning to?"
Nicole (realizing the obvious truth of his words): "I don't know, I've been ignoring everything for so long I haven't even realized there is no point in returning, I'd rather not now."
Ashyre: "If you stay here without a physical body though, you will not be able to exist even in death, your soul will simply disappear."
Nicole: "You seem to know a way around this, though you haven't said so yet."
